The PCIe thing has got me stumped, the old board had 4 pcie slots now the new one has 3? WTF?

For video editing and Audio DAW work to get the right mix of internal cards is now pretty much impossible on a pro level on the same machine.

PCIe x 16 Graphics cards (should have kept the older stlye ports or chnages to both the new ones i don't like the mix style)

Slot 2 Areca Raid card or similar

Slot 3 PCIe Sound Card

Slot 4 🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁

Slot 4 Blackmagic design or Aja video capture card

Slot 5 UAD2 or Scope excite DSP FX card

So basically now you HAVE to have 2 machines, which some would argue that this is the only way a professional would run any studio, but come on this is at my home

DAW:

Slot 1 Graphics
Slot 2 Audio
Slot 3 DSP

Video

Slot 1 Graphics
Slot 2 Raid Card
Slot 3 Video Capture

etc. 😕:apple:😕

It still has 4, one is occupied by the base graphics card and is a PCI-E 2.0 x16 slot. (according to others)
