2009 Mac Pro Won't Wake From Sleep

My 2009 Mac Pro with 10.11.6 will not wake from sleep. Once in sleep mode I lose my MACALLY keyboard connection and my mouse of which the receiver is plugged into the keyboard.

That does not work.
I have to hold the power button in until it shuts off. Then turn it on.
