    Depends on the drive, but your MacBook Pro will need a 9pin to whatever your drive has cable.

    Yep, need to know what your drive has. If your drive only has USB, then obviously it won't work (you may know this, but it comes up often enough I thought I'd mention it).

    Yeah, nothing you could do there without replacing the drive. Sorry.
