2009 octo gaming after 10.6.4 and graphic update

So I have a 2009 Mac Pro Octo 2.26, 8GB RAM, 7200rpm drives and a Geforce GTX285 1 gb. 10.6.3 performance is substantialy better- like 40fps in SC2 everything on ultra except shader which is set to high- vs. 20-26 fps after updates.

Ony my Macbook Pro 17" Dual 3.06ghz, 4 GB RAM, 9600GT 512mb RAM, the updates (10.6.4 and apple graphics update) are super fantastic. Almost increasing my performance in SC2 by 50%

Anyone else have similar issues?
