Yeah, if you want the 2009, don't get it from Apple, get it from B&H for only $1899.

I just picked up the 2010 2.8 from the refurb store. Everytime I went in a laughed at Apple pricing the 2009 model at the same price. No wonder the 2010 kept coming and going, yet the 2009 model hasn't budged.

Looking at B&H, I'm shocked they offer the Mac Pro Applecare for only $179!?! Is this is lowest "retail" price out there?

www.jr.com sold macpro applecare to me for 149 this sept. 2010
 
Definitely the 2009 reburbs from the Apple Store are a bad deal. The crappy video card, small hard drive, lack of wifi and lack of the ability to upgrade to a more modern processor later are for sure not worth the couple of hundred bucks or less that a 2010 reburb costs there.
