Anyone have any idea what could be causing this flashing up on my screen when i'm watching video.

I don't know how to describe it but in the video you can see like black pixels flashing up at 0.06, 0.10, 0.21

It seems to be mostly when watching HD video's on the internet it doesn't happen when i'm watching films etc using iTunes.

I have tried wiping my Mac and starting again, updating to Mavericks didn't solve it, It's been happening since I had Snow Leopard.

I had the same problem on my old 15" MBP Mid 2010. Only noticeable when watching Flash Videos.

Do you see this only in your browser?

Are you using flash player or HTML5?

Never figured out what caused it, now I'm using a new 15" rMBP. :(

But I think it only occurred in Safari with Flash.

My 2010 17" had a similar thing.

I seem to recall it only happened with GPU switching enabled, and usually in Safari. Seemed to go away when I locked it in "nVidia-only" mode using gfxCardStatus.

Thankfully, it never got worse or became a serious issue.
