Two great games yesterday. I bought a ticket for $100 about an hour before the first game and snuck into the club section. Spent the day watching great hoops from midcourt. Awesome stuff.
UConn looked pretty damn good yesterday, but it seemed like Kentucky's kids shrank from the stage a little. Horrible free throw shooting doomed them in a game they seemed to have complete control of (contrary to the actual score) through most of the first half. Kudos to Kemba Walker and company; every time they needed a big play they got it.
It will be interesting to see how full the stadium is on Monday. About half the fans who had a rooting interest were wearing UK blue and I can't imagine most of them will stick around. UConn, somewhat surprisingly, actually had the smallest contingent.
Congrats to UConn but what horrible game. So glad I spent my time/money on the Final Four instead of the championship game.
Definitely cool! These last two games are the first girl's hoops games I've watched all the way through in a couple of years and it was exciting as hell. Pretty much the complete opposite of what happened in the men's game last night.
I think I might go buy myself a t-shirt. Maybe I can get Sydney Colson to sign it!
