2010-2011 Mac Pro setups?

Been messing with configuring a macbook pro 17", but the mac pro desktop is pretty darn sweet.

What configurations do people own for the new Mac Pro? How do you compare performance to other desktops? Anyone have the 27" cinema connected to it?

I have the Apple 27" ACD, yes.

I am definitely in the "casual" user group though. I used to have a 2007 iMac and wanted to upgrade for Mac game playing. I really wanted to avoid the heat issues that seem to plague folks on the iMac forums - you know, yellow screens, dark marks, fan noise and of course hard-to reach hard drives leading to external caddies all over the place.

I upgraded to the 2010 hex-core in my sig and am really enjoying the relaxed feel of a properly cooled Mac and the un-cluttered desk that goes with it.

I have a 4 core 2.8Ghz Mac Pro in my recording studio.

I didn't see the point in getting a higher spec as I don't seem to be able to exhaust the processor with fairly large sessions (40-100 tracks).
Threw in 10GB of RAM and 5 hard drives.

I run a Logic/Symphony rig- it does everything I need.
Display is the same 23" matte cinema display I've had since my G5.
Not sure the 27" CD makes sense to me- I don't do anything graphics oriented and find the reflective screen annoying.
I'm more likely to get another 23" Cinema Display.

Here is my studio room- MP is in the bottom right hand corner.

What kind of studio monitors are you using? They look nice.
