2010 2012 Mac Pro Question

Thanks for checking out my question.

My daughter has begged me to go Apple so here I am after 40 years of PC.

Too long of a story to tell but I find myself without a PC computer.

After too much research for my brain to handle I am here for a few questions.

If I were to buy a Mac Pro 5,1 would I be able to use my 4-year-old Vizio 48" Smart TV for a monitor?

If so what does it take?

Also, would the browser show on the screen as it does on my daughter's MacBook?

It could work but it depends on a few things, like e.g. the type of connector on the TV and the GPU (which can be replaced by a different one) installed in the MacPro.

Also, would the browser show on the screen as it does on my daughter's MacBook?
