Hey guys, I replaced the hard drive on my mid 2010 iMac 27' following an online tutorial. However when replacing the very small cable in the very top left hand corner of the monitor, I damaged the connecting pins on the board underneath.

Despite eventually getting it plugged back in when I turn on the computer now I can't see anything at all on the screen, but I can hear the fans and the hard drive working so it's just the screen that isn't working because of my carelessness when replacing that cable.

I tried doing the PRAM reset and safe boot but nothing seemed to work so I'm now stuck with it. If anybody could give me a suggestion as to what I may have to do... i.e. replace the board or cable or whatever, that'd be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks very much
