And just Googled how to do this, and bother!!! To use clamshell you need constant power. Doh!!!
Is that why the Uptab has power passthrough? So you jus connect a USB C to USB C cable from the Uptab to the MBP?

But you'd need another port to charge anyway wouldnt you? So you're losing a usb c port with the uptab. Or with the cable I bought, ill need to use the mag safe port.
Or does the uptab charge from jlust the mini do to usb cable - no other cables needed?
I have a magsafe as it's a MBP M2. But my thinking was that it would look a lot neater on the desk to have the uptab and then use a small usb c to usb c from there to the Mac.

Just found this pass through lead and if it's compatible, it's a heck of a lot cheaper than the Uptab (if postage really is free)!
