If I were to sell my late-2010 27" iMac in the coming months, how much could I expect to sell it for? What is a good asking price?
It was fully loaded at the time, still runs fast as hell.

    Memory: 8GB at 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 4x2GB
Storage: 2TB SATA Drive + 256GB Solid State Drive
Optical: 8x double-layer SuperDrive + SD Card Reader
Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 5750 1GB GDDR5 SDRAM
    Display: 27” LED (2560x1440 resolution)
Peripherals: Apple Wireless Keyboard + Magic Trackpad and Mouse

As a starting point, you can check Mac2Sell, eBay (including completed sales), or Amazon for prices of similar models, to get an idea of what a reasonable price may be. Then adjust the price to account for condition, configuration, remaining AppleCare coverage (if any), etc.

Considering the new ones are days away I'd sell fast. Current price maybe $1,200? I see many that just sit on Craigslist with unrealistic prices.

I sold my iMac late 2009 model.

27 inch core i7 2.8 quad core 8GB RAM for $1100 easy on Craigslist.

Actually had multiple offers. One guy drove an hour and a half to pick it up from me. He actually offered me $50 more than my asking price. I kinda of felt bad, and told him if he was willing to drive that far (he was photographer-free lance)...I wouldn't take his extra $50 considering his gas money.

At least I know my late 2009 imac 27 inch core i7 will have a good home.

He emailed me the next day thanking me for holding the imac for him and that he was very happy with the machine.

I did have 3 1/2 months of AppleCare still left on my imac.
