Today, I was installing bootcamp on my 2010 i7 iMac when as I had just put my Windows 7 DVD into the disk drive and then pressed install bootcamp in the bootcamp assistant, there was a kernel panic. I then tried to redraft and boot into OS X but it got stuck at the white screen with the wheel and apple logo, I left it at this screen for an hour before giving up trying to boot into OS X. I managed to boot into the Windows 7 install disk and get to the point where it has it's first reboot but it will go no further, restarting the install every time. I cannot boot into OS X or Windows, I cannot boot from the OS X install disk, I have reset the SMC, no shortcuts work on boot except safe mode, which does not work either and I cannot reset the PRAM, eject the snow leopard disk or choose which partition to boot from, thanks for any replies. Sorry for a lack of paragraphing/ formatting as I am posting this from my phone. Thanks, Alex.

I am having the same exact issue with the same machine. I am hoping someone has some suggestions.
