    im in the market looking for a 2010 base mac pro with the w3530 2.8ghz processor im wondering since people might think new ones are coming soon wich probably wont happen on tuesday. anyways weres the cheapest place to get one of these and about how much are they going for?

    It's possible but you might be looking for some time. You could always find one close to that and try to negotiate price upon seeing it, assuming cash on hand. I suspect 2010s will be harder to find under $1000 than a 2009, but LA is full of mac pro listings. It has a really high density of Apple stuff.

    You can try checking eBay. The 2010 2.8ghz Quad on average goes for $1300-$1500.
