I have a Macbook Pro from 2010 (June).. I want to run Final Cut Studio on it. Am I able to run the program and will it run smoothly?

Yes. I ran FCP studio 3 on a 2006 MacBook pro smoothly

Depending your video files, the same HDD as your OS drive will do. SSDs are better if you want purely ecstasy.

I had all my footage on a FireWire 800 GRaid harddrive
