Hello my 2010 15" mbp power button is messed up almost falling off. I have difficulty turning it on sometimes. Made a apple apt and they said I have to pay to fix the button?
I have apple care I am rather annoyed by this fact advice please

Was told physical damage not covered due to the spring???
 
Was it your fault when it broke?
If it was you who caused the problem then yes, you have to pay.
Accidental are not covered by AppleCare.

Only manufacture problems.

Nope just normal turn off and on that's it

Will do I almost never turn it off just maybe once a month rather annoying
