I have a 2.66 GHz (P8800) Intel Core 2 Duo 13-inch MBP. Has anyone tried installing 16GB onto theirs and did it boot properly?

I think only the early 2011+ mbps support 16gb.

That one maxes at 8GB.

that one doesn't work with more than 8gb i think its a hardware limitation.

13 months later and it is now possible but the part's difficult to find. 😀
