2010 MBP running warmer after 10.6.7 update?

I seem to be having the same problem im idling at around 50C now,where as before i was idling 41C and just basic web surfing takes the temp up to 60C
What the hell is going on?
Similarly Airport performance has also been choppy since the update.
I'm not sure why this is happening,I'm using SmcFancontrol to monitor temperatures.

How long since you updated?
 
I don't know if I'm imagining it or not, but I feel like I've got this problem too. Doing standard web browsing, it's been around 60ºC, and playing video I've seen it hit as high as 90ºC, the fans start to really take off and bring it down to around 80ishºC. This is all using the NVidia graphics only, which I know runs hotter, but I generally kept it on NVidia before I updated too, and I just don't remember it getting so hot and the fans getting so loud.
 
No change here. Running pretty Cool. 27deg idle at this moment. My one seems way to cool compared to others out there to be honest. Maybe this is a problem... :confused:

I too noticed a fair increase in temp. after the update, but it settled down after a day or so and several reboots. Might have been mdworker reindexing, or whatever. The temp. range has decreased to roughly what it was before the update on my Coree 2 Duo 2009 MBP, maybe showing an increase of 1-3 degrees at idle and when using Handbrake.:cool:
 
Yeah I think I may have been overreacting. Seems to have settled down to normal again.
 
Idling was around 47 deg celsius previous (currently in the tropics). Now at 40-41 which is a great improvement.
