2011 13.3 pro I5 2.3 or a 2010 15 pro I5 2.53

Hello macrumors. Need a little help with which MacBook pro to purchase.
I'm a pretty basic user. Vm for windows, handbrake for video coding for my iPad. Nothing to major. The 15 is in the refurb store for 1250.
Any help would be nice.

Do you need the larger screen? Do you see yourself using this as a replacement to a desktop or is it going to be glued to your hip wherever you go?

Well I like the the 15 in has a better screen. I've got a iMac
So I really woudnt be trying to repla desk top. As far as usage I would say 50/50 on my lap and a dinner table/desk.

I'd get the 2011 13" if you have an iMac. It's going to be quicker than the 2010 for sure.
