Hi guys,

Well my MBP just all of a sudden will not boot up. I tried resetting the SCM and the PRAM. It boots up partially and then just turns off. Does this mean the HD is gone? Can I try to start it from my MBA somehow? I’ve never done this stuff, so I’m sorry if I sound confused.

I also can not start it in safe mode. It will start booting up and then stop once the safe mode screen comes up.

If I can’t, how do I get High Sierra on a flash drive? I assume the old HD has to be taken out of the computer before I boot from an outside hard drive?

Thanks,
Tommy
