2011 Early Macbook Pro 17 inch OS question ?

The question is simple:
Is it possible to use MAC OS 10.6.8 Snow Leopard on an Early 2011 Macbook Pro 17'' i7 2.2 Ghz ?
I need this OS for some old software and would like to know if anyone tried this, first hand.

Yes, it came with Snow Leopard so shouldn’t be a problem running it.

I presume that LATE 2011 Macbook Pro´s are not able to run OS 10.6.8 Snow Leopard😔 !?!?

Early 2011 came with 10.6.6. Late 2011 came with 10.7.2.
