2011 iMac drive replacements

I'm looking to swap out the HD in my 2011 21.5" iMac with an internal SSD. Can I go with something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01K8A29BE/ref=psdc_1292116011_t2_B07621PNWC?th=1

Or are there only particular types that will work?
I've been reading that I will also need a mounting bracket and temp sensor cable? I already have a teardown kit.

The SuperDrive has also failed and I can't seem to find a decent online store other than some eBay listings. Can anyone recommend where to pick up a replacement?

Any 2.5" SSD would work.
