    Hi all,

i'm looking at possibly buying the Samsung S23A950d 120Hz monitor for display via my 2011 Mac Mini.

There's an ATI 6630m graphics card in my Mini but would like some first hand experience (if any) of people actually successfully running the S23A950d monitor specifically at 120Hz displaying 2D.

I think you are confusing the rate at which the TV refreshes the screen. The 120Hz is not what the TV will accept from a video input. I have a 50" Pioneer Plasma TV which has a 600Hz refresh rate but the TV will only accept 24Hz or 60Hz video. The Mac-Mini will do fine with the Samsung TV.

EDIT: I just looked the specs and it states that it accepts a real 120Hz video input. In this case, I would suggest that you ask Apple or bring your monitor into the Apple store and hook it up to a Mac-Mini. The people in the Apple are very helpful.

Yeah i guess that will have to be the case. Will probably wait around for a bit more tho, just in case someone with 1st hand experience does come around.

    Thanks anyways! :)
