So, I've now reinstalled everything, tried different ram, new SSD hard drive, new battery.
Now the Macbook isn't crashing.. It's just running with the fan and CPU flat out. Now I've worked out to set the drop down on Activity Monitor to "All Processes" I can now see that the process using all my CPU power is "kernel_task". It's using anything from 87 to 94%.
If I could fix this issue the MacBook would be great. Every now and then when I -restart it it works great. Super fast with the new ssd drive but after 5 minutes the fan comes on and the CPU goes to work with kernel_task draining all the CPU resources.
