    Hi,

Just wondering if it is likely that we will see a white macbook refresh soon (as it is due to "update soon" on the macrumors buyers guide).

I'm aware that the Pro updated today and I'm wondering if the white will follow suit.

Or could Apple drop the white altogether?

    Thanks

they'll drop the white so buy as many of them now as you can. I'm certainly going to stock up.

Why would they drop the white? They even went to aluminum ones and went back to the white because they are so recognizably "Apple"

I too am curious where the MacBook is left after today's announcement of the revised MBPs. Lookin at the Buyer's Guide, the MB was updated one week after the MBP in last year's round of updates. Time will tell what will happen of course...

At this point, I'd rather put my money into a 2010 MBP 13" refurb VS a new MacBook. I'm hopeful that the white MB will get some Apple love in the next couple of weeks. But I'm not holding my breath!

I think they will update it soon, quietly like last year.

No. I think by saying, "Nonsense! The white Macbook is dead. Long live the white Macbook" he meant:

"Nonsense! The white Macbook is dead (practically). Long live the white Macbook (in memory and collections)."
