Hi everyone. I have a Late 2011 MBP with the following:
2.4GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor with 3MB shared L3 cache
8Gb RAM
500GB SATA drive (5400 rpm)
Will this work okay for hobbyist music recording and mixing? I will be using the current Garageband recording:
Guitar/Bass thru toneport interface
Superior Drummer sounds as a plug-in played w/ midi controller
Virtual Instruments for strings, piano, etc as needed.
Anything I need to do to this system to make this work well?
