2011 MBP ram in 2012 MBP

So my early 2011 13in MBP i5 just died Apple upgraded me to the mid 2012 same specs mbp I had upgraded the ram in the old machine and was wondering if I could use that ram in my new machine.

Yes it's fine. Unless you had 1600 MHz RAM, your RAM will be running slightly slower than stock, but it's hardly noticeable.

Im running 8GB of 1333mhz ram in my 2012 Pro (Came with 4gb 1600mhz stock). Runs great.
