Every now and then, my trackpad will randomly stop working. The tracking itself works, and so do multitouch gestures, but clicking--either by pressing down or just tapping--doesn't. Two finger taps do work, but one finger taps do not, making it virtually impossible to even shut down the machine if I've got a program running that requires you to click "yes" to quitting at shut down.
Shutting down/restarting does the trick.
It's happened twice now but is this something that will be addressed in an update, or do I have a dud?
