I've just added some RAM to a colleagues late 2011 MBP and replaced the HDD with an SSD. It's all running fine but the fan is on a lot (not constantly, it slows down and then races again).

When I open Activity Monitor and look at the CPU, I see a process named "secd" which appears to be using 108% of the CPU.

I have no idea what this is as there are no apps running. Any ideas?
