One thing I did notice is that when I started with a full 100% charge, it didn't drop to 99% for about 14 minutes.

Cell capacity on new batteries can vary, looks like you possibly lucked out and got an assembly slightly above max rated capacity from new. To verify look at the rating for "Full Charge Capacity (mAh)" under About This Mac More Info -> System Report -> Power. Note that this may not be accurate until you do a full calibration.

Small caveat, the difference is more than 5% as he the new machine has a battery that rates better than new (4680 vs. 4832).

(4832 - 4453) / 4453 = 8.5

The new machine actually has 8.5% more capacity than the old. Still a bit better, but not quite as significant.
