2012/2011 iMac Target Display Mode with a PC

I know the 2012 iMac hasn't been released yet so maybe this question is better geared for the 2011 iMac. If I have a PC with a DVI out, can I use it with the 2011 iMac in target display mode using the mini-display port to DVI adapter?

No. The 2011 iMac ONLY accepts Thunderbolt inputs for Target Display Mode to work. Mini Displayport won't cut it.
