Just heard the news that Macbook Pro 13 inch retina is on the way this October  I'm considering return the macbook air (still in the 14 days window) and wait for one more months. What do you guys think? The price for that should be around 1600, with similar specs, only with a more beautiful screen.

Wait, or you'll be sooorrreeeee!

If you can afford to wait a few more months and the extra dollars, I would go for it. I needed a computer for the start of school, or else I would have waited myself!

Rightnow I have only a desktop from work and an iphone to keep contact. Well then I think waiting is a good idea, although it is frustrating (have been waiting from last december). :D I can wait until October, but not December though (need it for presentation etc..)

The next version of any product will always have features the current model doesn't and there will always be people telling you to wait. Keep in mind, just because a product is announced doesn't mean it will be immediately available for ordering, or delivery, or both, then what are you going to do? Plus a 13.3 rMBP is just a rumor now.

If you can wait, then wait until you can no more. :D
I wouldn't jump on the 2011 Air. If the difference in price is the factor then yes but the cheaper. Otherwise always go current if you can afford.
