Hello everyone!

I love my iMac, but it has some serious thermal issues. I mostly use it for browsing the internet and watching Netfilx. However, it is always around 80 degrees celsius, even if Chrome is the only application running. My case is warm to the touch, but even with my fingers on exhaust it is not uncomfortable hot. My fans are also running at 3400 rpm at idle. Also, as soon as I hit 15% load everything slows down, and I assume the CPU is being throttled to prevent over heating.

I've reset my SMC and run through quite a few troubleshooting steps. Do you think my computer has an airflow problem, and its getting too hot? Or do you think the temperature sensor is going bad?

It could just be chrome it is particularly awful in OSX (especially with flash video on the page) if you don't have the same problems with safari you'll know thats the cause.
