Might be a good idea. A really good kicker, tight end and defense can make a team great. There always seem to be enough high scoring qbs that if you dont get one of the 2 highest scoring ones you might as well get stronger at other positions before using a pick on a qb

I generally randomize the draft order every year in all of my leagues. I understand using stats and things from last year to impact the next year in keeper leagues, but our league literally functions as a new league each year. No one keeps players, there is no seeding or anything like that, basically everyone starts over with a fresh team.

In the OSX league last year the #1 draft pick finished 12-1, #2 and #3 both finished at 7-6, and our champion who was 4-9 during the regular season drafted in the #7 slot. MacNut, you drafted in the #11 position and finished 8-5 to win your division and make the playoffs.

I typically think that coach's skill and actively managing your team is more important than draft order.

I too hear what you are saying, as this would be the case with me, as I was close to the end last year. That is the luck of the draw!!!

And what about those that are in the middle, would stay in the middle.

I would rather see a new shuffle and if you land in the same spot so be it.

The sad thing is we all know that being second won't help him in the end. :D

Rdowns, we'll make a deal with you, none of us will draft Jets players if you promise to take one with each of your picks. ;)
