I could tell, I saw your post in the iOS League thread about wanting the champion from each league to play each other. Penciling yourself in a bit early, are we?

Anyway, my team has been amusingly inconsistent. One week we'll score 150+, the next barely crack 100. There's a lot more luck involved in FF than I anticipated. But thus far it's been fun. Hoping for some exciting twists in our league as we hit the second half. :)

I like my team a lot, and I think I have one of the stronger teams in the league, but Im not penciling in anything. I just thought it would be neat to have the two champions play one weekend in the playoffs.

Big week next week, two 5-1 teams playing each other. Unfortunately I have a few players on a bye.

Yeah, 6-1 is going to look good for me after next week :D You definitely have the advantage at QB, we are pretty even at RB, but you are going to need some major scoring from your WRs to have a chance.

As Queen said, there's a lot of luck involved - you're always 1 injury away from becoming a team that's not as strong as you think.

If Mendenhall doesn't get hurt last week, you're 4-2 - so....

I've been killed by injuries to my WR's, and in the past few weeks I've made poor decisions on who to start and who to bench. It's still fun, though - and there's nothing wrong with having a built in excuse to watch more football. :D

Of course there is luck involved, but banter is fun. Regardless of what happens this weekend, its about what happens in the playoffs. Im just happy that I get to be more involved with my team this year because last year was just terrible for me.

This has also been a crazy year for the NFL in general. On sports radio this morning they spouted off some statistics about how there has never before been this much parity in an NFL season. The vast majority of teams in the league are either 3-2, 3-3, or 2-3 depending on their bye week schedule. Very few of the preseason definitive 1st round fantasy picks have put up those kinds of numbers so far and injuries have been a big challenge for many. It has certainly made for an unpredictable start to the fantasy season. The teams that make the playoffs this year are going to really have to earn it with good management skills.

With that being said, I'll see (some of) you in the post season! :D

One problem my team experiences is the distance we have to travel to play all you US-based folk – those long away trips can take their toll on the lads. Luckily though, I've persuaded the board to upgrade our transport – we're now travelling in style and bedecked in club colours.

All aboard! Next stop Steve's Cupertino Kids!

Of course this is the week Johnson shows up....

It's close ;)

Parking the team minibus in my end zone has certainly hampered your scoring, though. :)

Neither of our Oakland players are pulling up trees at the moment, so it looks like it's going to come down to the performances of our last players to take to the field.

Green-ellis or the scrub Dwyer from the steelers.... ESPN gives me an 8.3% chance of winning, I need Marshall to lay an egg.

I can see this coming down to Wide Receiver points again. Bloody hell. :D

lol. Fitzgerald was awful, but Skelton was starting. I'm going to close my eyes and move my mouse, which ever it stops closer to Dwyer or BJGE is who will play :p. Goodluck to you sir ;)

I think I'm going to have my 5 year olds start choosing my lineup. My bench: Randall Cobb = 29 points, and Andre Roberts = 23 points. I'll be 1 - 6. Oy!

At least you have options! My bench is so weak, I'm 5-2 by pure luck.... That's what I get for drunk drafting, I accidentally took a backup TE in the 3rd round

Cripes - with Green-Ellis played and the post match score adjustments made, ECUpirate44 has a slender, single point lead in our match. As long as Brandon Marshall – averaging 20 points a week this season – can somehow, somehow score two or more points tonight I'll pick up only my second win of the season.

What could possibly go wrong?

Strained groin during warmups? :D

Here's hoping that Jay Cutler doesn't manage to score 50 points tonight.

LOL...yeah, I dont think that is going to be an issue. That is what I get for opening my mouth too soon. I knew I was in trouble once Fred Davis went down early. I had him having a big week because the Skins were hurt at WR. Graham being out didnt help either.
