Hello guys! This might sound a little bit stupid but how much video memory does the intel hd4000 have in the 2012 MBA?If i recall correctly Apple used to say that the hd3000 has 384mb,but why they're not publishing it now?

I think it uses 512mb of ram, but I've read reports on the net that it can use up to 1720mb of ram. I'm not sure if apple caps its allocation, I've not seen any write ups on how much it uses in OSX

It'd be very interesting to see if it allocates more if you go with the 8gb of ram

screen shot of the 2012 air showing 512mb of ram pls. My 13" 2012 Air only shows 384mb with 4gb system ram. thanks! might be worth upgrading to 8gb just for that!
