2012 Mini, you tube, says "plug in failure"

Hi, I have a 2012 Mini, I have a bunch of you tubes in the bookmark, doesn't matter which one I go to, video comes up black and says "plug in failure"
any remedies ? thanks, Ben

If you have Flash installed, make sure that the NPAPI plugin is up to date (Sys Prefs > Flash Player > Updates). The current version is 17.0.0.134.

If it's out of date, then either update or remove it. YouTube no longer requires Flash, but Safari will block outdated versions.

Hi appreciate the info, went there, says it is up to date, installed the bottom one and still does not work, always comes up
plug in failure"

All was working fine until today.

I rebooted Safari and all is working fine now, thanks for the help, I am not a computer guru, always come here 1st for questions, great site, thanks
