Heat?

I recently got gifted a Mac Pro Late 2013, it has some great spec's and for the most part seems to run as fast as my Late 2018 15" Mac Book Pro.

Though I recently noticed that when on for long periods of time it gets very hot. Is this normal or should I be doing something like cleaning it out etc?

It runs macOS Catalina (Big Sur seems to cause crashes), 2 thunderbolt 27" displays and an Atto dual 10GB Thunderbolt Network cards.

Cheers.

Yes, all good.

On long renders I run 'Macs Fan Control' as I like to keep the fan ramped up. Temps get to 95℃ after awhile.

These are the fan settings I have in iStat menus right now. It seems to work well keeping the system cool for me, while not being too noisy.
