Maybe I'm seeing things but has anyone else noticed the 2015 MBA screen is brighter than the 2014 MBA screen? I remember in previous versions the MBA 13" had a darker screen than the MBA 11" for whatever reason. Now in watching review videos between 2014 and 2015 13" the newer one seems brighter?

Haven't compared with a 2014, but my 2015 screen is definitely very bright. I barely ever need to put it above 50% - most of the time between 30-45% depending on ambient light.

I didn't notice this until you pointed it out, MacChino and throAU, but my beautiful pile of poo is also at about 30% and very comfortable to look at. Anything close to 100% IS painful (but that may be because I'm prone to migraines and have light sensitivity).
