I currently have a Thinkcenter M92p Tiny as a media center PC. However I don't really like Windows 8.1 as a media center OS, and I think Yosemite would be much better. The other reason is that the remote and keyboard options are better.

I plan to get a refurb base model, and take it apart and put a 64 or bigger SSD in there (I Wont need much storage as its just a media center PC connecting to Plex)

My only gripe is that it doesn't have HDMI 2.0, but I am sure I could use a Mini-DP adapter in the future.

How would it handle 4k content? I plan to keep it for a while and if it won't do 4k then its a no-go

It won't play 4K well on an external monitor, as it's limited to only 30 Hz (hardware limitation of Haswell-U).

Apparently, people on here have managed to get it running at 50Hz on some monitors but seems to still be a bit laggy.

Am also wondering which monitor would be the best to get.
