Hi, Ive been using my 13 inch MBA in the car - running off battery power. I was wondering if i could just plug the 45w plug into a cigar socket 12 to 240v inverter and not have to worry about it going flat? if anyone has any experience doing this can they tell me what works and what doesnt - if the inverter has to be a special one or anything?

I am not auto electrician, however I have done this many times. Your MBA will be fine. I just wouldn't leave it charging while the engine is off.

Make sure the inverter is well ventilated!
