The Force Touch trackpad is an advantage too.

It is a difference, but I'm not sure it qualifies as an advantage yet. Only a few applications can even take advantage of it yet.

I haven't tried it yet, so take my option as you will. It really does seem like a good step forward, but the existing trackpad was widely considered to be the best. The only problem I ever heard about it was that clicks at the top were sometimes difficult. I think that the biggest reason for why this exists, though, is that it is thinner and Apple needed it for the new MacBook. However, it will eventually be supported in many more apps so it may become more useful in the future.
