Tempted to pick up a refurbished (from IBM no less) that comes with a 15 month warranty.
2.6 i5 MacBook Pro 128SSD
From all accounts, it's practically brand new in original packaging.

It's Haswell based. The Broadwell refurbished model on Apple's site goes for about $290 more.
So for a 25% premium, is it better to go Broadwell?

I was holding on for the long awaited new Skylake or whatever, but this seems like a good deal.

BTW, all numbers are in Canadian funds.

$1020 Canadian is what, $850-900 US? Price sounds reasonable. That configuration is $1300 new from Apple here.

Considering the base rMBP costs $1550 (plus tax btw), it's worth it. It is a pretty big save, and the performance won't be too different.
