Yesterday I was watching this and it was $1850, special one day deal today for $1599, no sales tax too from B & H. I was a fence sitter but this deal got me to jump off. these are still $2079 in the refurb at apple right now.

hope you get to get in on it!

Yeah, saw that earlier today. That's one heck of a deal. Too bad for Canadian currency or I would have jumped on it.

I was watching as well thinking of returning my B&H purchased unopened MacBook Pro retina 13" early 2015 256gb 8gb ram for the Mid 2014 15" rMbp seen in the link.

Saw the chance to pay an extra $250 for the mid 2014 this morning and I couldn't pass the chance. Such a great deal. :D

I currently own a 2013 Macbook Air 13" 1.7Ghz and have been trying to wait for Skylake to upgrade to a 15" rMBP, but have almost pulled the trigger several times in the past couple weeks on a refurbished version of its current version for $2119. I'd be using this mainly for web development, coding and web browsing. I'm perfectly content with the performance of my MBA for those specific tasks but really want a larger higher res screen and the ability to drive a 4K external display at 60hz. This 2014 deal sounds like a no-brainer. But does anyone here think the $500 extra for forcetouch and faster storage on a soon to be revamped laptop makes any sense for me? Thinking that $500 could go towards a 4K external display instead...

man...you might laugh but I am currently using a 2009 MBP...yep, 6+ years old...still running well. Been meaning to upgrade for awhile and was looking at the deal for 13" at Best Buy...this seems to make more sense...
Is this a refurb?

I am typing this response from just that Mac, I was on the fence too, however after I saw the deal I went to B&H and got it as soon as the deal went live. Love everything about this machine, coming from a Mid 2009 MBP, this is a whole new world.

I got one of these too. I have issues lol. hurray for really good laptop deals!

I ordered one too, should get it on Thursday. This will replace a 2011 Macbook Air.
My son came home with his MacBook Pro this weekend, and I fell in love with it. :D

I've been a Windows user since the 80's, and got a rMBP last March, and love it. So easy to use, and reliable
