2015- 13" MBP Battery Life??

Hey guys, I'm really torn between getting a 2016 base 13" MBP, or picking up a 2015- 13"MBP.

The main concerns I have with the 2016's is all the complaints about battery life, and the extra large trackpad.

The 2015 13" MBP would have the following specs:
2.7 I5/16GB/512

Can any of you guys what type of battery life you get with average usage?

This is the battery life I'm getting on my 13" (nTB). Averaging about 11-12 hours per charge. No complaints at all.
