2015 13" Retina MacBook Pro for programming?

    I am going to get another mac for work..
    how is 2015 13" rMBP (2.7Ghz,8g ram,256ssd) for developing use?

    You need very little in the way of resources for programming, however if you are using a multitude of OSes for your development in VM's you may want more RAM.

    I have those same specs and run a VM. I do development on both OS's, w/multiple programs open in both. 8GB hasn't been a problem. I usually have at least 1GB of free RAM, and my memory pressure graph shows green.
