found a 2015 mbp 15" 2.5ghz, 16mb ram, 512 HD and dual graphics for 1600.00. It was purchased 2 months ago and under warranty. Think I'll find a better deal if I hold out ? Or should I snatch it up. Was gunning for a 2.8 since I'll be using it for audio/video production but they are few and far between at a good price.

That processor difference is very negligible. Buy it!

If you don't buy it, PM me where it is being sold, and I'll buy it!

Dag nabbit, missed out . All well. At least I know what to aim for. 2.8 would be nice seen a few go for 1500.00 so far, just gotta keep an eye out for deals.

Man someone point me in the right direction. I am in Canada and all the mbps I search for are more expensive than the refurbished ones from Apple.

Ahh , well looks as if 1500.00 is the avarage for a 2015 2.5 mbp 15". Another one came up on eBay 2 hours later with 2 years of apple care, 100 cheaper to boot.

That's a pretty good deal. I just pulled the trigger on one on ebay that is listed as new, sealed fro $1900 with an extra magsafe 2 charger.

I'm a bit leery of such an expensive purchase on eBay. How can the sell new ones for $400 cheaper than B&H?!? Hopefully it all works out!

got the same model in July, but has applecare until Feb 2019 for $2000.

AppleCare was the deciding factor for me. Takes the sketch out of buying a used MB. Well that and the 2015's having faster Hd's and better graphics than previous years. Wanted the 2016 but paying over 3k for +1\2 mhz clock, same ram config and screen Resolution isn't worth it at this point. Maybe once they Have a 32gb ram option.
