Hi guys,

My 2015 15" MBP fan gets very noisy when watching Youtube. The fan returns to silence once I stop watching. Is it normal? Attached is the system profile screen shot.

Thanks.

How can I get temp readings? Monit is the app I use.
Well, Monit is clearly not providing the data we need, I recommend to download "Intel Power Gadget" which should be able to provide exact temperatures of the CPU

It's fired up the Radeon GPU, that's probably why.

What browser? If it's not Safari, I suggest you try something that is Safari.

I tried. There's no Allow Intel App option. Did I miss anything?

Yeah, you need to close all apps. Something is requesting high performance graphics (ie the AMD GPU) so it's locked the Integrated Only option out.

Integrated Only forces the Iris Pro graphics on the CPU to be used. It stops the AMD GPU powering up when an application requests high performance graphics - which is tripping the fans in. For low impact things like web browsing, watching movies etc the integrated is more than good enough. Just remember to flip it to dynamic switching when you plug an external display in, or try and run a game or app that really needs the AMD GPU.
