2015 Macbook pro Trackpad going flat out speed

Hello everyone,

Suddenly my trackpad has gone crazy and even in settings it can't be slowed down. Another thing is I've found that if I restart the computer I can't even use the trackpad to wake it up I have to plug in a mouse.

Any suggestions?
