I know that 2015 MBP 15'' is still more expensive than the 2016 13'' touch bar but hopefully there will be sales for the 15'' one on Black Friday!
But regardless of what you do mostly on the laptop and the portability, I want to use it for the next 4-5 years.
I kind of like 15'' because of bigger screen, better keyboards, and no need of dongles
But I also want 13'' because I felt it was faster when I tried at apple store (but it could delusions)
Any thoughts?

2015 15" with quad core cpu will be faster than 2016 13" dual core cpu.
2015 Base MPP Geekbench 3701/12444
2016 MBP FB Geekbench 3512/6996

If you scour around, I've seen the Base 2015" for $200 off $1800. Same price as 2016" 13" touchbar.

Good luck waiting for sales, it won't happen. Then you'll be waiting till January. Then you'll hear about a 'reliable source' claiming refreshed units will be out in March, then WWDC, then October will come and new units will be out. And you'll tell yourself to wait for Black Friday for the sales!

What I mean is if you need it, grab it, don't end up playing that waiting game. Buy it, use it, be happy.

I was in the same dilemma. Bought the 15' 2015 with a huge duscount and couldn't be happier.

15 is just a better machine in general - took me a while to get that lol...

Of course it's not, it's bigger and heavier and if you are a road warrior with modest to middling performance needs then the 13 inch is a better machine for you.

lol-if you can not handle just under an extra pound on the road then something is really wrong lol...
